The winners of the 2024 International Architecture Awards (IAA) were recently announced, with CSCEC standing out among 850 global entries to claim a prestigious award for the Shenzhen Book City Bay Area City project.

Established by the Chicago Athenaeum in collaboration with the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the IAA is an annual event that recognizes outstanding achievements in architecture, landscape design, and urban planning.
Shenzhen Book City Bay Area City

Located on the eastern side of the central green axis in Shenzhen's Bao'an District, the Shenzhen Book City Bay Area City is a flagship cultural initiative under Shenzhen’s "major cultural facilities in the new era" plan. The total construction area is about 131,000 square meters. Focusing on diverse experiences such as culture, art and life, it will provide high-quality public cultural services to residents of the Greater Bay Area upon completion. At present, the project is about to be completed and is scheduled to open for operation in mid-2025.
