Recently, Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by officials, visited the projects in New Tashkent. CSCEC undertook the design and development of municipal infrastructure in some areas of the new city and was invited to participate in the event and introduce the relevant projects.

Mirziyoyev toured a 50-hectare nursery and focused on the progress of the construction of two universities, the national library, and the pilot section of roads and underground utility tunnels, which were launched in April 2024. He also visited the temporary administrative building that is currently under construction.

Representatives of CSCEC reported to Mirziyoyev about the integrated collection and utilization of rainwater and groundwater in the infrastructure design of the first phase of New Tashkent. Mirziyoyev instructed the staff that they should continue strengthening communication with the technical team of CSCEC and apply advanced technologies to the construction of New Tashkent.
