Today, we explore the story of Suliman, an employee at the affordable housing project in Taif in Saudi Arabia under the Up We Build program.
Suliman, 43, is from Egypt. Fluent in both English and Arabic, he brings extensive experience in project management and claims negotiations. In 2023, Suliman joined the project as a contract manager.
During his year on the project, Suliman has faced numerous challenges alongside his team, learning advanced techniques and management practices. At the same time, he has shared his professional knowledge and expertise from Egypt with his colleagues.
Suliman said, in working with his project colleagues, he have learned a lot of new things. The dedication and work ethic of his Chinese colleagues have made a lasting impression on him. Whenever he encounter difficulties, they are always ready to help. Through our discussions and exchanges, his thinking has broadened, and many challenges have been easily resolved.
Suliman feels fortunate to have worked on the project. He said, this experience has been one of the most valuable of his life, not only for the rich engineering knowledge he have gained but also for the friendships he have formed with his Chinese colleagues. This project will be a highlight of his career, and he looks forward to continuing to work with the team to advance the success of the project.
