Malaysia's LONGi 2.8GW New Solar Module Plant goes into operation

Recently, the LONGi 2.8GW New Solar Module Plant constructed by CSCEC in Malaysia went into operation.

The project is located in the UMW industrial park in Selangor, Malaysia, employing the most advanced technology, processes, and equipment in the photovoltaic industry. It is slated for a two-phase construction, with a total capacity of 8.8GW upon completion. The first phase of the project, with a capacity of 2.8GW, covers an area of 100,000 square meters, including newly built workshops, warehouses, and auxiliary buildings. This involves civil structures, decorations, electromechanical installation, and outdoor engineering. With the first phase now operational, the second phase has already been initiated.

As of now, the first phase has created approximately 900 job positions locally, and it is expected to exceed 2,000 job positions in the future.
